Adaptive Medias, Inc. Announces New Advanced Video Player For Media Graph Platform

Adaptive Medias Focuses on Mobile With New Player Design

IRVINE, Calif., Nov. 6, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Content syndication and monetization company, Adaptive Medias, Inc. (ADTM), a leader in programmatic advertising across mobile, video and online display, today announced its new video player design aimed at a more enhanced mobile experience. This continues the evolution of Adaptive Medias’ flagship Media Graph platform, providing publishers, producers, and advertisers the ability to easily and effectively monetize digital video content across all screens and devices through one centralized solution.

The new video player design focuses on the growing trend of users viewing video on their smartphone and tablet devices. With comScore recently reporting that 31% of TV viewing for online is being done on a mobile device, the aesthetics and functions fit very well for finger touch execution versus the traditional mouse executions on desktop video viewing. Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) forecasts mobile ad spending to grow at 100% over the next few years. Since coming out of beta at the end of summer, Adaptive Medias has seen a 280% increase in adoption of its platform. This growth has been fueled by the increasing demand publishers are seeing for mobile monetization and functionality.

Sal Aziz, GM of Platform, said, “Our publishers are seeing a rapid and dramatic shift in traffic to their mobile sites. Last year, many of our publishers only saw 10%-20% of mobile traffic to their properties. That number is as high as 70% today. We are constantly working to ensure our technology works well in all mobile environments and provides the best customer viewing experience. This new release continues with that focus for us.”

In addition to the mobile functionality, the new video player features responsive design sizes that auto adjusts to the viewing screen size, industry standard ad support for vast and vpaid formats and IAB social sharing integration. The player also supports HTML5 for additional mobile functionality.

The new mobile responsive design is available at Adaptive Medias’ platform site, Mediagraph.com.
