Inside Account Executive


Adaptive Media, a publicly traded Irvine-based company, is a multi-channel and content monetization company serving website owners, app developers, and video publishers who want to optimize digital content with impactful, engaging advertising experiences. Adaptive Media provides programmatic audience and content monetization technologies for display, mobile, and video advertising across multiple devices.

We’re in a highly competitive and active market, and our products are similar to Rocket Fuel’s RTB, BrightCove’s CMS, and Adap.TV’s waterfall management system. Adaptive Media offers the complete digital video technology stack to support its clients with platform, content, and supply offerings, all backed by a state-of-the-art, data-driven, programmatic advertising technology.


The Inside Account Executive is responsible for working with prospective new clients, as well as working with existing clients to help them further develop their digital media. They are also responsible for overseeing client accounts from initial enrollment, as well as consulting throughout the relationship.


    • Developing, maintaining, and extending client relationships
    • Developing deep understanding of each client’s business in order to customize and develop their digital media
    • Implementing and driving strategies to grow revenue for clients
    • Researching competition, competitive issues, products, and industry trends
    • Working with each client to establish target goals and objectives
    • Executing Internet advertising campaigns for each client, including conversion and ROI optimization
    • Maintaining a day-to-day client relationship management
    • Provide clients the latest features, solutions and products to aid them in achieving their goals
    • Maintaining and growing Adaptive Media by interacting with Fortune 500 Companies
    • Finding and developing client leads and relationships
    • Managing clients through daily email and phone interactions
    • Delivering proactive account management by providing business solutions to clients, as well as offering methods of increasing revenue through unique marketing programs
    • Developing and executing on strategic recommendations that drive revenue
    • Monitor, analyze and optimize client’s performance to ensure target goals are being met
    • Analyzing daily and monthly reports to optimize performance
    • Supporting Business Development with new accounts
    • Working with Operations for implementations including but not limited to player build, content requests, and campaign setup
    • Proactively addressing the needs and goals of clients
    • Acting as consultant when new products are released that will benefit the client
    • Making optimization decisions on behalf of the client that will aid in achieving their goals

      • BA/BS degree in Communications, Business Administration, Business Management, or related fields from an accredited university or institution
      • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Internet environments
      • Solid understanding with internet ad operations and social networking sites
      • Excellent written and verbal communication
      • Reputation for accuracy and ability to work under pressure
      • Able to manage multitask work in a strong-paced environment
      • Collaborative interpersonal skills to work effectively with various departments and clients in a team-like manner
